Rime is when snow crystals encounter supercooled water droplets. It feels like ice pellets beacause The supercooled water turns into tiny ice balls on the surface of the crystal.

Firn is that type of snow ontop of glaciers. It has been there for years and uts granular,it has not yet turned to ice.

It is a pink snow that usually is on the top of mountains. These by the presence mainly of Chlamydomonas nivalis. Its a sort of green algea with a red tint. The snow even smells like watermelons.
