The United Nations Framework on Climate Change Confrence or COP 15's goal for this week is to was to establish a global climate agreement for the period 2012 when the first commitment period under the Kyoto Protocol expires. It's different because it is linked to the UNFCC. The feature of the Kyoto Protocol is that it sets targets for 37 industrialial countries and the European areas for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The 3 ways we can prevent climate we can be smarter about choosing our seafood, change are that we can change light bulbs and reduce your carbon footprint.

The thing I can change is the light bulbs in my house.

This article talks about the atmosphere. It explains the 3 comparisons.

1.I compared Queens, New York to Detroit, Michigan and Las Vegas, Nevada. The best air was Detroit. The worst air was Las vegas Nevada in Clark County from all the hustle and bustle down by the strip.
2. Next i picked 3 states. I picked Florida, Michigan, and Oregon. The worst air was Florida. The best air was Orgegon probably from all the nature!
3. I chose Chicago Illionois, the best time to visit is during the winter. The air is clean and fresh. The worst time to visit is the summer months like June, July, and ,August. This is because the air is dirty from all the comotion down in the city in the summer.

The best city in michigan that has the best AQI reading would be Benton Harbor and Kalamazoo they both had 17's. The worst would be Saginaw. It has a 36 AQI number.

I thought that this weeks blog was very interesting and i enjoyed it.

This article explains how the it could or couldnt be a theory that an asteroid killed the dinosaurs. It talks about why it could be true and why it couldnt be true.

In class we learned about the 5 spheres. The 5 spheres are biosphere,geosphere,hydrosphere,atomsphere, and exosphere. About 65 million years ago the great comet struck the Yukatan peninsula. Now because of that black dust has clouded the earths atmosphere and now sun rays is blocked out. The dust settled to the trophoshere but the greenhouse gase caused a change in the tempature.

But there are other theorys about dinosaurs.
They say that volcanoes could have had a huge part into the extinction of dinosaurs. When the volcanoe erupts the lava can spread towards where the dinosaurs are and that can hurt the dinosaurs.

I think that this blog was very interesting becasue i got to learn alot about the dinosaurs.
